Websites for plumbers
A plumber website that answers the burst pipe call
Plumbing searches are often urgent. Someone with water on the floor wants a number to tap, proof you're licensed, and a clear sign you'll actually come out.
What your customers are typing into Google
- “plumber near me”
- “emergency plumber near me”
- “24 hour plumber”
- “blocked drain plumber”
- “hot water system replacement”
- “leaking tap repair plumber”
- “gas fitter near me”
What your website needs to do
An emergency call button that works on a phone
If you take after-hours jobs, say so at the very top and make the number a tap-to-call button. If you don't, say your normal hours plainly so nobody waits on a call you won't answer.
Your licence number, shown properly
Plumbing is a licensed trade, and the rules differ by state. Put your licence number in the header or footer of every page, along with your insurance details, so a nervous homeowner doesn't have to ask.
A page each for your main jobs
Blocked drains, hot water and leaking taps are different searches with different worries behind them. Giving the jobs you do most their own space, or their own page, lets you answer each one properly.
Honest notes on pricing and call-out
You don't need a price list. Saying whether you charge a call-out fee, whether quotes are free for bigger jobs, and what you can usually do on the first visit takes the fear of a surprise bill out of the call.
Brands and gas work, if you do them
Hot water searches are often by brand, and gas fitting is its own line of work. If you install particular systems or hold gas fitting authority, name them on the page.
Common mistakes to avoid
Saying 24/7 when you don't mean it
Claiming round the clock service and then letting calls ring out at 10pm costs you the next search and the review that follows. Say what you really cover.
No licence number anywhere
For a licensed trade, a site with no licence number looks unfinished. It's a quick fix and an easy one to forget.
One page called Services
A single list of every plumbing job gives Google nothing specific to match against a search for a blocked drain or a hot water system. Split out the work you most want.
Getting found on Google
Plumbing work is mostly local and often urgent, so the Google Business Profile does a lot of the work. Pick the plumber category, add secondary ones for gas fitting or drainage if they apply, keep the phone number and hours exact, and add photos of finished jobs. On the site, pages for emergency work, blocked drains and hot water give each search something to land on. Reviews asked for soon after a job help more than any wording on the site. Our Grow plan covers the profile, two posts a month and local SEO. None of it guarantees a ranking.

Questions from plumbers
Can the site show I do emergency and after-hours work?
Yes. We put your after-hours number and what you cover at the top of the home page and on a page of its own within the 5 pages. We'll only say 24 hours if that's what you actually offer.
Can you add a page for every suburb I travel to?
Not at $500. The site has up to 5 pages, so we name your main areas across them. Extra location pages come with our Dominate plan.
Do I need online booking?
Most plumbing jobs start with a phone call or a quote form, so we don't push bookings. If you already use a job scheduling tool with a booking link, we can link or embed it at no extra cost.
Can you put my licence and insurance on the site?
Yes. Send us your licence number and insurance details in the onboarding form and we'll place them where visitors can see them on every page.
